Free Golf for Serving Members of the Armed Forces
Silecroft Golf Club is proud to waive all green fees for current serving members of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces and we would especially welcome those on leave from tours of active service around the world. We request that you leave details of your service unit with the club for our records. (This offer is subject to the usual condition for play)
Silecroft is a 9 Hole / 18 tee Links Golf Course, and offers the chance to play an easy walking game with the typical challenges of links golf.
The challenges of links golf are not lost at Silecroft, with the characteristic uneven links fairways, thick rough and a scattering of Pot bunkers around the course and due to Silecrofts coastal location there is always a ‘SEA’ breeze blowing.
This sets up a nice challenge and can test even the most accomplished golfers. The greens are all free of fronting hazards, tempting golfers to bounce the golf ball into the green, judging the bounce and the run, rather than hitting high approach shots.
